Our Services

At Relinquish, support is grounded in a non-diet, trauma-informed, Health At Every Size®-aligned approach.

All care is client-centred and collaborative. Rather than applying rigid rules or external expectations, we work with you to understand your experiences, reduce distress, and support health in ways that feel respectful, safe, and sustainable.

Below are the main areas of support offered. You’re welcome to explore the option that feels most relevant to you, or start with a gentle conversation if you’re unsure where to begin.

Trauma-informed nutrition care

Trauma-informed nutrition care

Nutrition care that recognises the impact of trauma, lived experience, and past harm, and prioritises safety, choice, and consent at every step. This approach may be helpful if: previous healthcare experiences felt unsafe or invalidating food or body conversations are triggering or overwhelming progress feels complex or non-linear

Non-diet & intuitive eating support

Non-diet & intuitive eating support

Support for people who want to step away from dieting, food rules, and weight-focused approaches, and rebuild trust with food and their body. This work may involve: reducing guilt, anxiety, or fear around food reconnecting with hunger and fullness cues letting go of rigid rules and “good/bad” food thinking supporting nourishment without restriction

Eating disorder dietetic support

Eating disorder dietetic support

Specialist dietetic support for people experiencing eating disorders or disordered eating, delivered within a trauma-informed and collaborative framework. Support is paced carefully and may include: improving nutritional safety and adequacy supporting recovery alongside a broader care team addressing food avoidance, bingeing, or restriction reducing distress around eating and body image
